This Privacy Policy outlines how SchouMedia (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, processes, and protects personal data received via Meta platforms (including Facebook Lead Ads) through the use of our app: SchouMedia – N8N.

SchouMedia is the data controller for data processed via this app, when we act on behalf of our clients.

2. What Data Do We Collect from Meta?

We only collect and process data that users voluntarily submit through Meta Lead Ads forms. This may include:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Postal address or ZIP code

  • Company name (for B2B leads)

  • Any custom fields defined by the advertiser (our client)

3. How Is the Data Used?

The data we collect is processed and forwarded to our clients through secure integrations, using automation workflows powered by n8n. The purpose of this data processing is to:

  • Deliver submitted leads directly to the client’s CRM or communication system (e.g. Google Sheets, Notion, WhatsApp, or email)

  • Enable fast response and follow-up from our clients to users who have expressed interest

We do not use the data for any marketing, profiling, retargeting, or resale.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Our legal basis for processing this data is:

  • Consent: Users voluntarily submit their data via Meta lead forms.

  • Contractual necessity: We process the data to fulfil our service agreement with the advertiser (Meta Page owner).

  • Legitimate interest: We may process technical information necessary to secure and monitor the correct functionality of the integration.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share personal data with any third parties outside of the systems authorized by the client. Data is only routed to the destination systems chosen by our clients, such as:

  • Google Sheets

  • WhatsApp Business API

  • Notion

  • Email services

  • Other CRM tools connected via n8n

All integrations are encrypted and secure.

6. Data Retention

SchouMedia does not store lead data long-term. Once the data has been forwarded to the client’s system, it is removed from our automation environment unless retention is explicitly required for technical logging or troubleshooting purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data we handle. This includes:

  • Webhook encryption (HTTPS)

  • Access-controlled automation systems

  • Role-based permissions and secure server configurations

8. Data Subject Rights

As an individual, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the data stored about you

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time (by contacting the company you submitted the form to)

9. Use of Meta APIs

The SchouMedia – N8N App uses the following Meta APIs:

  • leads_retrieval: to fetch submitted lead data

  • pages_read_engagement and pages_manage_metadata: to manage webhook subscriptions and identify the page connection

  • webhooks: to receive real-time lead notifications

We do not use Facebook Login or collect any extended profile data (e.g. birthday, gender, friends list).
